VOLUNTEER SIGN UP BEGINS IN March 21st 2017
Want to be more than just an attendee at Hopefest MN 2017 ( June 23rd – 25th ). Be a Hopefest Christian Music Festival Volunteer. We have several areas of service available.
- Full time volunteers require 20 hours and a full festival ticket .
- Part time volunteers require 10 hours and receive a Full Event Ticket for $20.
- Part Time and Full Time Volunteers will need to work at least one shift during an evening headliner.
Volunteering is key to the success of this festival and we appreciate your consideration.
All volunteers are subject to a possible background check. The information from this check will not be used for any purpose other than assessing your suitability for volunteering.
Individuals will not be allowed to volunteer if they are listed on the National Sex Offender Registry or other issues that would cause possible concerns for Hopefest attendees and management.
You may be handling money on this team. Accountability and accuracy are required and cash register experience is preferred. If you don’t feel comfortable making change, please let the area leader know when you check in for your shift. You will need to match the tickets sold to the cash taken in. Please note these areas will be monitored by security staff at all times and cameras. For your safety and ours.
You may be working outside for some or all of your shift. Please come prepared for the weather (rain poncho, bug spray, footwear, sun screen, hat, etc.)
Most jobs require heavy lifting. If you are working on stage you will need to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis and much more at times. Please wear work clothes and closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops). You want to bring your own work gloves
Volunteers must be available for pre event planning and provide email and cell phone numbers for accessibility and planning for Hopefest organizers.
Handle sales and keep merchandise tables organized.

Mark camping areas and set up campsites before the event. Direct campers to their areas and give assistance where needed. These volunteers will need to be at Hopefest at 9 am on June 22nd.
Food preparation, service, cooking, delivery and sales. The concessions stands will be outdoors and you will be standing, please wear comfortable shoes. Hair bibs may be required for this area. Will be provided.
|Post Festival Clean-Up||20||

Festival Set up will begin several days before June 23rd. Please call 218-652-6824 if you are able to help in this vital roll. Camping on grounds will be available.

|Clean up Crew||10||
Keep the grounds beautiful by picking up garbage around festival, and changing garbage bags in designated areas. Also monitoring the bathrooms.
Supervising inflatables and having fun with the kids! Also doing Face Painting throughout the grounds. A great attitude is a must.
|Hopefest Store and Hopefest Merch Stations||8||
Handle sales and will keep merchandise presentable.
|Parking Volunteers and Security||8||
Stop all vehicles and after Collection of Parking fee’s’ Direct vehicles through the parking area. This will be done in two locations. There will always be two people at all two locations plus a security person. These lots will remain open from 9 am Friday Morning until the last Vehicle has left Sunday evening. Very detailed people at this position. Shifts are 9 am – 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm to Midnight or last vehicle is gone. Volunteers will be provided shade and a porta potie in these areas. Cash will be collected so you must remain in these areas.

All festival attendees enter this tent to purchase tickets, pick-up orders and receive their wristbands. Also fill ticket booth Number 2 by Concessions area. Very detailed and sales experience people at this position.
